Cooking Recipe Ingredients
4 red apples, 6 Granny Smith apples, 2 pints milk, 2 2/3 oz. cinnamon sticks, 1/3 lbs. sugar, 8 egg yolks, 1/2 lb. butter, 1 lemon
Cooking recipe preparation instructions
1 – Boil milk and sticks of cinnamon together. After this pour some fresh eggs in bowl and add 1/4lb. sugar to it. 2 – Beat the mixture well until egg yolks turn whitish. Add boiling milk to it and place it in a saucepan and cook it without boiling. 3 – Stir the mixture frequently with help of spatula until the cream sticks to it. This is what is called as English cream. 4 – Strain this English cream while removing out cinnamon. Refrigerate it. 5 – For preparing green sauce cut out two Granny smith apples in quarter size and remove seeds. Cook them up in compote. If taste of sauce is acidic then you can add little lemon juice to it. Refrigerate. 6 – Cook apples after peeling and cutting them into quarter sizes. Sauté by adding little amount of sugar and butter. 7 – Finally, serve your dish by placing green apples on serving dish and pouring little quantity of prepared green sauce over it.
