Chicken is a popular dish. Breast of chicken is greatly loved as it has a good texture and can be cooked in various ways. You can bake it, fry, boil or even grill it. Breasts of chicken can be used to cook variety of dishes which may be easy or complicated ones. Some cuisines require lesser time whereas some consume more time to prepare it. It is the leanest part of chicken so it is considered healthy. So, it is best to have skinned chicken for any preparation. Leaned breasts of chicken have minimum content of cholesterol, fats and fatty acids that are saturated. It is also a good source of vitamin E and A. Breasts are to be cooked till temperature inside them reaches 165 deg. This helps to check certain food borne diseases. For storing, it should be kept in the coldest section as it remains fresh. Raw chicken should be handled carefully and when it is prepared with naked hands, do not touch other food items. You should wash your hands thoroughly after touching raw chicken. Marinated chicken should be refrigerated as it tends to get spoilt when exposed at room temperature. If you are not consuming the dish completely at a time, keep it in fridge immediately. Moist and tender breasts of chicken taste the best; but when it gets overcooked, chicken becomes dry, stringy and tough. If you are planning to cook chicken in dry heat like roasting, grilling or baking, cook at high temperature for a short period of time. Chicken tastes best when you cook it in low flame for a longer time period with some moisture in it. This way meat remains tender and juicy. |

A really simple chicken recipe. I'm not an experienced cook, but the results after following this recipe is quite satisfactory. I enjoyed making this recipe, as well as I enjoyed eating it.
